Places of interest
Quinta do Pereiro is not far from several well known interesting sights, e.g. Serra da Estrela, the highest mountain in Portugal. There are numerous shops at the top selling local products and there are also two observation domes, although not in use. A museum is in Arganil, displaying artefacts from the surrounding villages. Roman ruins are in Bobadela, only 30 minutes drive. Piodão is the most typical and well preserved natural stone village. It is a must to see.
