What to do while staying on the farm? For those who enjoy the outdoors, there are bikes for hire. There is a manmade lake for those who enjoy fishing. One can also take walks lasting between 30 minutes and 3 or more hours. The walking tracks or paths
start just afew metres from the house and will take you through the nearby villages and small farms and pine/eucalyptus/cork oak forests. Mira beach and the beaches of Figuera da Foz are about 1½ hours drive. Rio Alva is only 15 minutes away and there
are nice swimming spots.
